"Our family had absolutely the best and most relaxing vacation in years. What a magnificent spot and something for everyone. Your home is so lovely and comfortable. The pictures don't do it justice." -M.H. from PA "My family ... agreed that our week in the Adirondacks was one of the best vacations we've ever had. The children made friends with a mother duck and her two babies. We saw several families of otter and of course the loons made everything so special." - M.P. from NY
"My family and I were very happy with our stay at Bear Lodge and the surrounding area. The view was magnificent with the sun coming up over the lake each morning. It was great to go fishing and swimming on Lake Adirondack. We enjoyed local trips to Blue and Long lakes and visited the Adirondack museum. We even took a plane ride over the Adirondacks." -Joe from MD

"Your cabin was wonderful! It was clean, well-stocked and well cared for and just as beautiful in person as it was in the pictures. And it was nice and private, as advertised. We loved sitting down at the dock and watching the ducks and the loons. We had never heard loons before -- they make a really cool sound. We took the canoe out and went around the lake -- it's nice and quiet and it was great having a canoe to use! We found some great hiking trails nearby and really had perfect weather for hiking. We also were in the area when they had the Rustic furniture festival at the Adirondack Museum and that was really enjoyable -- that was the only day we had rain, but we enjoyed the day in spite of the rain. We were only home a day and my husband was already asking me if we could go back. :-) Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!" - J.M.
